For my Re-imagined Constitution Class to finish this project I worked out the maximum amount of shuttles is 8 if the Captain wishes to have a full complement, unless he or she might decide on less.
I used the names of those scientists I find interesting for the other shuttles not otherwise having appeared or mentioned in Star Trek.
Name / Episode or Source
Aristarchus / Aristarchus of Samos
Columbus * / The Galileo Seven
Copernicus * / (Star Trek V: The Final Frontier)
Kepler / Johannes Kepler
Huygens / Christiaan Huygens
Einstein * / Metamorphosis (updated VFX)
Galileo * / The Galileo Seven
Sagan / Carl Sagan
Using this older WIP of the hangar and cargo area to help illustrate, 2 Shuttles could be parked for use in the landing bay launch receiving area, in the deck below reached by the turntable / elevator there is room for 4 shuttles to be stored, then on the lower deck, the main cargo area there is space for 2 more shuttles adding to 8 shuttles.
This could be down to what the Captain wants, might decided on having 4 or 6 is more cargo space is what is needed.
It has been some time since my last post, I have not been very active modelling or rendering wise. most recent a trip to Spain, while I was away I reread Star Trek Chain of Attack by Gene DeWeese 32nd in the sequence for the TOS Era,
While mapping a series of gravitational anomalies, the USS Enterprise is suddenly hurled millions of light years through space, into a distant galaxy of scorched and lifeless worlds… into the middle of an endless interstellar war. With no way back home, the crippled starship finds itself under relentless and suicidal attack by both warring fleets! And Captain Kirk must gamble the lives of his crew on his ability to stop a war that has raged for centuries – and ravaged a galaxy…
I decided to have a go at a tribute cover, using my re-imagined USS Enterprise rather than the classic.
I also went back and reworked the aft windows on the teardrop section of the primary hull just below the bridge. instead of 2 windows I gave it 3 windows and added some basic features.
This is my latest and final Star Trek model, made for my reimagined Constitution class

I have retouch the Drydock and moved the C&C from the top of the dock to the portside of the dock, just to have a Asymmetrical design.
The Enterprise approches Antartica Nebula by Ali Ries aka Casperium
I found this background on DevientArt simply called Warp Stock by Euderion (link to site below) a simple render, one I might tweak in the future..
