HUTZEL Class Space-Tug
Named in memory for Gary Hutzel
Some details: Early Work-Bee 2213 to 2270
Original design is Walter “Matt” Jefferies and I have added a few minor ideas of my own, mainly the hatch curves around to the right to allow the pilot enter and must have a Spacesuit.
Using telescopic arms (fore and aft) can attach too containers or other objects to manoeuvre orbiting installations such as Space-dock and Star-ships.
It also has powerful thrusters and can tow with the aid of tractor beams a medium size Ship a short distance if the need arises.

Has a bit of a snow globe look to it. I’m sorry but I could not find a better way to put it.

Its has 🙂 but I had not seen it done before and such works interest me, I think it also adds to the TOS era short list of space hardware 🙂
I have a few ideas to expand it even more.. soon I will be starting a Spacestation along the lines of Franz Joseph work..
